It was surprising to realize that many students attending this college did not know the Patron Saint of their school, let alone the Jesuit Fathers.\u00a0One could read on their smiling faces their wonder when the speaker revealed to them that the fathers of the parish of Christ-Roi are Jesuits and &#8216;sons&#8217; of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"660\" src=\"https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1-1024x660.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1-1024x660.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1-300x193.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1-768x495.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1-18x12.jpg 18w, https:\/\/ajan.africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/11-1.jpg 1430w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSeeing all new things in Christ\u201d is the theme of this Ignatian Year, explained the Director. The representative of the students of the college expressed a wish that the students can take Christ as the only reference for their life. Une conf\u00e9rence sur \u00ab les changements climatiques et la protection de l\u2019environnement \u00bb anim\u00e9e tour \u00e0 tour par le Directeur du Centre Maisha et Monsieur Felly Bombata, enseignant du coll\u00e8ge, a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion d\u2019attirer l\u2019attention des \u00e9l\u00e8ves sur le bien-fond\u00e9 de la protection de notre environnement. Les probl\u00e8mes climatiques sont li\u00e9s aux actions et aux comportements de l\u2019homme vis-\u00e0-vis de la nature. C\u2019est l\u2019homme qui est au centre de plusieurs activit\u00e9s qui favorisent les changements climatiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating awareness about the protection of the environment, community participation, discouraging gas emission activities, and encouraging reforestation all help to fight climate change.
