The highlight of the April series was the April 21 edition of our youth-centred program Connector<\/em>, featuring guest speaker Mr. JohnFisher, a teacher from St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School, Nairobi, Kenya. The discussion explored whether young men and women can maintain friendships without romantic involvement. Through practical and values-based insights, the session encouraged listeners to reflect on boundaries, mutual respect, and emotional maturity in their relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Listener feedback revealed diverse perspectives. Many young people affirmed that cross-gender friendships are possible when grounded in respect and clear boundaries. Others expressed scepticism, noting that romantic feelings often complicate such relationships, while some emphasised that maintaining friendship requires strong emotional discipline.
