Une ferme cunicole en pleine expansion, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re du restaurant, fournit \u00e0 la cuisine une source de prot\u00e9ines abordable tout en g\u00e9n\u00e9rant des revenus suppl\u00e9mentaires gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la vente de lapins aux m\u00e9nages et aux boucheries locales. Salia<\/strong>, un jeune entrepreneur et participant au programme Jesuit Youth Social Entrepreneurship Action (JYSEA). Lors des sessions du programme ax\u00e9es sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, la nutrition et la r\u00e9silience communautaire, l'id\u00e9e d'associer un restaurant \u00e0 un \u00e9levage de lapins s'est impos\u00e9e comme une solution innovante capable de r\u00e9pondre simultan\u00e9ment \u00e0 plusieurs d\u00e9fis locaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Aujourd\u2019hui, cette vision porte ses fruits. Le restaurant sert en moyenne <em>quatre-vingt-dix repas par jour<\/em> et a cr\u00e9\u00e9 <em>des opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi pour deux jeunes<\/em>, l\u2019un travaillant dans le restaurant et l\u2019autre g\u00e9rant l\u2019\u00e9levage de lapins. Ce qui avait commenc\u00e9 avec seulement quelques lapins s\u2019est maintenant d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour atteindre plus de <em>deux cents<\/em>, d\u00e9montrant une croissance et une durabilit\u00e9 remarquables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019impact va bien au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une seule entreprise. Salia r\u00eave d\u00e9sormais de donner aux autres jeunes les moyens de r\u00e9ussir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des formations et du mentorat en cuniculture. Son objectif est de fournir aux futurs apprenants des kits de d\u00e9marrage comprenant des couples reproducteurs et du mat\u00e9riel de base afin qu\u2019eux aussi puissent mettre en place des activit\u00e9s g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices de revenus et contribuer \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire dans leurs propres communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gr\u00e2ce au soutien d\u2019AJAN, ce qui avait commenc\u00e9 modestement est devenu une entreprise en pleine croissance qui nourrit des familles, cr\u00e9e des emplois et inspire l\u2019espoir.
