On Saturday, 14 March 2026, students from St. Joseph Technical Senior School, under St. Joseph Development Programmes (SJDP) one of AJAN’s centres in Kangemi, Nairobi, Kenya, joined learners from across the Archdiocese of Nairobi for the Young Christian Students (YCS) Rally held at Loreto Limuru High School. The event offered a vibrant platform for young people to grow in faith, listen to inspiring talks, and connect with peers from other schools.

A key highlight of the day was the vocation awareness session, encouraging participants to reflect on different life callings. A lay speaker shared insights on marriage as a Christian vocation, while priests and consecrated men and women spoke about responding to God’s call through religious life—as sisters, brothers, and priests in the Catholic Church.

Students were also inspired by Fr. Morris, who introduced the 5 F’s of Faithfulness:
- Filter – Let Jesus shape how we see and live our lives.
- Focus – Seek self-discovery and discern God’s calling for you.
- Fear – With faith, fear loses its power.
- Follow Through – Remain committed and faithful to your purpose.
- Fulfillment – True fulfillment is found in Christ.
The day concluded with Holy Mass, bringing all participants together in prayer and thanksgiving. Students from Saint Joseph Technical returned to Kangemi strengthened in faith, friendship, and a renewed understanding of their vocation and purpose.

As one of AJAN’s active centres, Saint Joseph Technical Senior School continues to play a vital role in nurturing young people’s spiritual growth, resilience, and leadership. Through initiatives like the YCS Rally, the centre fosters a culture where students are encouraged to live out their faith, serve their communities, and embrace the call to holiness in their everyday lives.
