I’ve been a weaver for over ten years and I’m very happy to have benefited from this aid from ABE, under the women empowerment program that is being supported by AJAN. As it has enabled me to strengthen the business. Frankly, I’d be lying if I said the loan didn’t help me a lot. I took out the loan on July 9, 2024, by which time the business was well underway. However, as happened during the rainy season, our yard was flooded every time there was a heavy downpour, which slowed down the work. But I thank God for allowing me to carry on. Thanks to the loan, I was able to purchase raw materials more easily. The profit I make enables me to pay for my children’s schooling and meet my own needs.

The difficulties are, generally speaking, the lack of a market. We pray for peace to return to the country. We pray that God will bless the donors even more, that he will grant them long life, health and strength, and that he will prosper their activities and their families. Their choice to accompany the women goes straight to our hearts. Thanks very much to all.
