Reflections for Lent from the African Jesuit AIDS Network

The African Jesuit AIDS Network (AJAN) will be publishing weekly Lenten reflections on its website, ajanweb.org. This series of reflections invites you to take an in-depth look within yourself and the reality of the world around you, to see how you can better respond to the call of Jesus, to be like Him, and to reach out more to people who are marginalised and oppressed by poverty, disease and injustice. Jesuits and others who are involved in the struggle against AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa will write the reflections, which will be based on Bible quotes taken from the Lenten liturgical readings. The first reflection to be published on Ash Wednesday, 13 February, will be written by Fr Michael J. Kelly SJ from Zambia.
